Step 1: Warm-up
1. Greeting and song: 打招呼并唱唱英语歌曲。
2. Revision of numbers and colors: 复习数字与颜色。
学生以小组形式,互相询问并回答数字和颜色。
Step 2: Presentation
1. Introduce the new words: apple, banana, cat, dog, elephant, fish, grape, hat, ice cream, juice, kite, lemon, milk, orange, panda, queen, rabbit, snake, tiger, umbrella, vegetables, watch, xylophone, yogurt, zebra.
2. Teach the pronunciation of the new words. Ask students to repeat after the teacher.
3. Show the corresponding pictures and objects for each word.
4. Practice pronunciation of the new words.
5. Present the sentence patterns: "What is this?" and "What is that?"
6. Practice the sentence patterns with the new words.
Step 3: Practice
1. Play a game: 'Find the Word'.
- Divide the class into two teams.
- Present a picture, and the first student from each team has to come to the front, find the word card and hold it up.
- The first student to find the correct word card gets a point for their team.
- Repeat with different words and different students.
2. Practice conversations using the sentence patterns: "What is this?" and "What is that?" Students work in pairs, asking and answering about the objects in the classroom or the pictures on the textbook.
3. Complete the sentences with the correct word, using the sentence patterns learned:
- ______ is this? It's an apple.
- ______ is that? It's a cat.
Step 4: Consolidation
1. Play a guessing game: 'What's in the box?'
- Prepare a box with some objects inside. Each round, choose a student to come up and pick an object from the box without showing it to the class. The student then asks the class, "What's in the box?" The class responds with questions like "Is it a fruit?" or "Is it an animal?" based on the sentence patterns learned.
- The student can only answer "Yes" or "No" to the questions. After a few rounds of questions, the class tries to guess what's inside the box.
- Repeat the game with different students and different objects.
Step 5: Assessment
1. Prepare a worksheet for students to match the words to the pictures, fill in the blanks, and answer questions using the sentence patterns.
Step 6: Closure
1. Review the new words, sentence patterns, and the activities of the day.
2. Sing a song or play a game to end the class.
拓展活动:
1. Homework: 让学生通过练习册完成相关的练习,并在家中复习所学的单词和句子。
2. 教师可以组织学生以小组形式创作一段对话,运用所学的句型和词汇进行对话表演。
3. 可以引导学生通过看英文动画片或阅读英文绘本进一步拓展课堂所学的内容。
