教学设计:Unit 6 Friendship
一、教学目标:
1. 语言技能目标:
a. 听力:能够听懂有关友谊的对话和文章,并能够获取相关信息。
b.口语:能够运用所学词汇和句型进行有关友谊的交流。
c.阅读:能够阅读有关友谊的文章,并能够理解文章的主要内容。
d.写作:能够用简单的句子表达自己对友谊的看法。
2.学习策略目标:
a.能够使用查字典、查资料等学习工具,提高学习效果。
b.能够主动参与课堂活动,积极提问和回答问题。
c.能够与他人合作,互相帮助,共同完成任务。
3. 文化意识目标:
了解不同**的友谊文化差异,并能够尊重和理解不同的文化。
二、课程内容:
Unit 6 Friendship
1. 单词:friendship, trust, loyal, honest, support, understanding, cherish, gratitude, loyalty, bond, companion, quarrel, argument, compromise, forgive, apologize
2. 词组:build up, break up, count on, fall out with, get along with, hold on to, make up, put up with
3. 语法:The use of comparative and superlative degrees of adjectives.
三、教学步骤:
Step 1: Warm-up (5 minutes)
a. Greeting and review the previous lessons.
b. Show pictures of friends and ask students to describe the qualities of a good friend.
c. Lead a class discussion on what makes a good friend.
Step 2: Pre-Reading (10 minutes)
a. Introduce the new words and phrases in this unit.
b. Ask students to work in pairs and come up with 3-5 sentences using the new words and phrases.
c. Check the sentences and explain any difficult vocabulary.
Step 3: While-Reading (20 minutes)
a. distribute the reading passage about friendship.
b. Ask students to read the passage individually and underline the main ideas.
c. Discuss the main ideas as a class and check for understanding.
d. Ask students to answer the comprehension questions individually.
e. Check the answers as a class and have a class discussion on the topic of friendship.
Step 4: Post-Reading (15 minutes)
a. Ask students to work in pairs and discuss the following questions: "What qualities do you look for in a friend?" and "How do you maintain a good friendship?"
b. Have a class discussion and share some of the answers.
c. Ask students to write a short paragraph about their best friend, using the new words and phrases.
Step 5: Grammar Practice (10 minutes)
a. Review the comparative and superlative degrees of adjectives.
b. Give examples and ask students to form their own sentences using the comparative and superlative degrees.
c. Check the sentences as a class and provide feedback.
Step 6: Cultural Awareness (10 minutes)
a. Introduce different friendship customs in different countries.
b. Show pictures and ask students to guess the countries.
c. Discuss the customs and ask students to compare them to their own culture.
Step 7: Homework (5 minutes)
Assign the following homework: write a short dialogue between two friends, using 5 of the new words or phrases.
