Step 1: Warm-up

3. Play a game: "Simon says". The teacher gives commands like "Simon says touch your nose," "Simon says touch your ear," and the students need to follow the instructions. This will help reinforce their vocabulary and body part recognition.

Step 2: Presentation

1. Present the new vocabulary related to healthy habits, such as "eat a balanced diet," "get enough sleep," "exercise regularly," and "drink plenty of water." Show pictures or use flashcards to aid in understanding.

2. Have students repeat the new words after the teacher and explain the meaning of each phrase. Use real-life examples to make the meaning clearer.

Step 3: Practice

1. Divide the students into pairs or small groups. Give each group a picture or a short paragraph about healthy habits. Have them discuss and share their ideas about the benefits and importance of these habits.

2. Have each group present their ideas to the class, encouraging them to use the new vocabulary they have learned.

Step 4: Listening and Speaking

1. Play an audio recording or video clip related to healthy habits. Ask the students to listen carefully and answer some questions about the content. This will test their listening comprehension skills.

2. After the listening activity, organize a class discussion. Ask the students about their own healthy habits and encourage them to share tips and advice on how to stay healthy. This will provide an opportunity for them to practice their speaking skills and reinforce the new vocabulary.

Step 5: Reading and Writing

1. Assign a reading passage about the importance of healthy habits. Ask the students to read the passage individually and underline key points or unfamiliar words.

2. Have a whole-class discussion about the reading passage. Ask students to share their understanding of the importance of healthy habits and how they can incorporate them into their daily lives.

3. Ask students to write a short paragraph about their own healthy habits and the benefits of adopting these habits. Provide them with a writing template or sentence starters to help them organize their thoughts.

Step 6: Consolidation

1. Review the key vocabulary and phrases learned in this unit by playing a game like "Taboo." Divide the class into teams and give each team a set of vocabulary cards. One student from each team needs to describe the word on the card without using the word itself, while the rest of the team members guess the word.

2. Wrap up the lesson by asking students to reflect on what they have learned about body parts and healthy habits. Encourage them to think about how they can apply this knowledge to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Step 7: Homework

Assign homework tasks related to the unit, such as writing a diary entry about their healthy habits, or researching an article about a famous athlete and their healthy lifestyle.
